Read what past guests have had to say about their stay at Pezulu Tree House Lodge:
The tree houses are amazing! Every one of these are special. We had a nice view at the waterhole where zebras, monkeys, ostrich and buffalos visited us! The crew is very friendly and helpful! We did the morning walk through the area with Derick. That was really cool with giraffes very close to us. And they organized us a sunset-safari-drive to the Manyeleti Game Reserve - we saw a lion-family and a leopard right in front of our vehicle. Wow!! The boma dinner is also very nice! What a perfect stay in a wonderful location.
Pezulu is an amazing place to stay. It's in the middle of a private game reserve. Animals like giraffe, warthog, buffalo and wildebeest walk around the lodge freely. The beautiful rooms in safari style are situated in cool tree houses. You can even take an outdoor shower surrounded by game. From there you can embark on excellent game drives in one of the best private game reserves with the big five. Dining around a campfire was a special experience and the food was delicious. But the best thing about this place is the people. The staff and owners of this place. Very friendly and helpful. We've enjoyed an evening at the bar with them, and it was like being among friends. Thanks guys, you're the best! We highly recommend Pezulu! Do the morning bush walk. Lots of fun!
Pezulu Tree House Lodge is the place to go!
Pezulu is a great getaway, quiet yet full of animal life. The Honeymoon suite is the best, there is a water hole right in front of the Tree House with a bush-baby (nag appie) living in the thatched roof which makes the stay even more worthwhile. There are other trees houses available if your group happens to be bigger, that have walkways between the rooms that can be found in separate trees but part of the same tree house. All the tree houses are far apart from one another with thick bush in-between, so when it comes to showering or bathing it is met with giggles and some shyness at first; why you ask? Well the bathroom(s) is protected by mosquito nets but open to the bush, adding to that feeling of being one with nature, being part of nature.
Supper is offered in a boma where a lovely bonfire has been started and coals spread out for the bowls and pots that serve you with warm tasty food. And breakfast is served in the open dining area, and often buck or giraffe pass by on their way to a watering hole.
Bush walks are offered for those who prefer taking some time out in between the trees and grass, with a guide of course as one can never be too safe. Game drives are offered to those who prefer viewing herds of buffalo, springbok, zebras, etc. You might be lucky and spot a pride of Lions in the area, the guides will try their best to help you spot a leopard resting or sleeping in a tree. My wife and I would like to thank Pezulu Tree House Lodge for their friendliness and the kitchen staff for the lovely meals they provided. We would HIGHLY recommend this Lodge to any and everyone.
