The Cango Caves
Explore the fruits of the underground on tours of The Cango Caves – the only show caves in Africa. Play it safe on the Heritage Tour if you’re with small kids or claustrophobic, or opt for thrills and an adrenaline rush on the Adventure Tour – be ready to squeeze through tight spaces and clamber up steep and slippery rock faces!

Gamkaskloof a.k.a Die Hel
The world heritage site, Gamkaskloof, also known as Die Hel or Swartberg Nature Reserve, is a 121,000ha reserve between the Klein and Groot Karoo. The reserve conserves a diversity of vegetation, with the main attraction being the rare protea venusta. To see them in full bloom, visitors are advised to visit at the start of autumn. The reserve also has a variety of wildlife, including antelope, baboon, dassies and leopard.
