This is the deal

How would you feel staying in the heart of Cape Town, and we mean the trendy part where all the cool restaurants, delis and shops are? We’d be pretty excited. What’s a holiday or little break away without exciting things to see and do? Especially eating out and shopping!
If you’re coming from another province, Kloof Street Hotel is ideal for exploring on foot. Other attractions like the V&A Waterfront, the lively Bo-Kaap houses and De Waterkant are a very quick drive away. Plus you could always opt to take public transport like the MyCiti bus or Uber.
If you’re a Capetonian and always struggle to find parking in town weekends and so desperately want to explore the bakeries, shops and restaurants featured in blogs and Instagram, a stay at Kloof Street Hotel will serve you well.
A special mention goes out to….
- Olive Branch Deli in Lifestyle on Kloof (a 1 minute walk from the hotel)
Olive Branch Deli can be best described in their own words as “a meeting place for farmers, producers, market vendors, chefs, mixologists, stylists, food activists and all who love to eat food with a conscience). If you can’t find a specific food or ingredient at the local grocery store, you’re sure to find it there! Anyone who loves food, homemade preserves, yoghurts, organic veg and fruit will find Olive Branch Deli a very exciting place to be!
- The Labia Theatre
For a unique movie viewing experience you have to go to the Labia Theatre, the oldest independent cinema in South Africa. At the Labia you can watch foreign films, old movies, art and independent movies, classics and more while enjoying a cocktail, glass of wine or beer. It’s in fact the only cinema where you can relax, watch a movie and enjoy a sip from the bar. The Labia Theatre also has a coffee bar with home-made delicacies, sweets, chocolates and popcorn.
