If you are new to scuba diving, this surface supply snorkelling and scuba diving experience is the perfect opportunity for you to try it out and learn everything there is to know about this amazing underwater experience! You will be diving just 3m from shore at uShaka Beach.
What is Surface Supply?
Surface supply is a combination of snorkeling and scuba diving. You are able to breathe using a 6m long hose and second stage demand valve regulator which is attached to an air tank floating on the surface.
It balances the ability to breathe underwater with the freedom of movement you can enjoy snorkelling.
Do I need to be a diver already?
Nope! No certification or previous experience is required. This fun and safe experience is great for anyone older than 6. Certified and non-certified divers are welcome.
What can I expect?
You will be given a quick 15 minute safety briefing and will then be shown how to use the surface supply equipment as well as your gear including mask, fins, a wetsuit, as well as a weight belt and harness. After this you can start exploring the ocean! You can relax knowing you’re under the guidance of a certified professional.
How long is it?
Approximately 1.5 hour.
