SCALA PASTA BAR

In collaboration with the king of Carbonara, Luciano Monosilio, a Michelin-star Italian master chef. Scala’s food is inspired by tried and tested Italian methods but with a personal, unique and modern twist added to each dish. So take note, this is not Mamma’s Pasta.

QUALITY IS KEY

Scala emphasises quality and that is why its “Pasta Laboratory” produces three types of pasta, all made fresh by hand each day. Quality ingredients are key, so Scala only uses the best seasonal ingredients sourced especially for the restaurant by local producers. Scala also makes full use of a Josper Charcoal oven imported from Spain, which allows the restaurant to produce spectacular sauces, vegetables and meat to use throughout all of the dishes

THE MENU

Guests will be treated to a fantastic menu that Luciano Monosilio created in collaboration with the restaurant's local team. The main menu offers a selection of modern Italian antipasti, tapas-style dishes and a selection of carefully crafted desserts. The daily specials board offers guests a seasonal selection of meat, poultry, seafood and vegetarian dishes. Be sure to try Scala’s signature dish, the Carbonara pasta.

    This was definitely worth it! from the lovely and warm staff and exceptional service – to the fine dining experience! will definitely be recommending SCALA!!! LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT!

    Fifth visit to Scala. Unfortunately a bit of a hit-and-miss.
    The carbonara was dry and salty; the wild mushrooms excellent.
    The aubergine dish was luke-warm and not baked in the oven.
    Steak tartare is very good, a firm favourite.
    Sweetbreads were bland and flavours did not make sense – please remove this from the menu as it serves no credit to such a lovely place .
