Atlantis Dunes Adventures is the best thing to do in summer with kids, friends and family! It’s a great place for both beginners and experts.

What to expect:

• The friendly guides will meet you at the permit office of Witsands Aquifer Nature reserve A.K.A. (Atlantis Dunes)
• You will then get sandboarding permits from the permit office and submit them to your guide. The guide will walk you to the dunes, assist you in waxing the sandboard and give you some safety and training.

Sandboarding permits are as follows: 

• Adults 18 years and above- R68,00 kids
• Age 3 to 17 years and pensioners over 60- R42,00
• You will be hiking and sandboarding down and across the dunes exploring the beauty of Cape Town’s ever-changing Atlantis Dunes.
• Wear comfortable clothing. (spot wear)
• Bring: refreshments: drinks and snacks, phones or cameras.
