About REPS Cape Town:
Situated in Bellville, REPS was founded by Rico Hattingh, a former SA MMA number one ranked heavyweight champion and 1st-degree black belt Brazilian JIU Jitsu practitioner, and Eric Sean Pike, a Cape Town franchise businessman, along with other athletes and shareholders. Rico came up with the name Reps while the four were brainstorming a name for their company (short for repetition). When he was discussing this with the other shareholders, he noticed that they were seated at the table in the following order: Rico, Eric, Peter, and Sharon. REPS was spelled out by the first letter of each name.
